Statement

2.8.16∗. One coil of rope is wound on a cylindrical pole. To prevent the rope from sliding
on the pole when it is pulled by one end with a force of F, it is sufficient to
hold the other end of the rope with a force of f. How will the holding force
change if n turns are wound on the pole? The coils of the rope do not touch
each other.

Answer

f=Fe^(2*mu*pi*n)
